My ventilation system only remembers the temperature & which vents to blow air, but does not remember the fan speed or A/C botton. It's a nuissance. Any guru knows?

I set it at "off" as default, but it only worked the first time after reset, then the fan speed stay at one bar the next time when I turn it on.
