Help guys. Sorry for not searching I'm posting from my celly, I can't login from work. So I go turn on the car to go to work and I get the engine light. I drive the car and it will not go fast. I have to shift to get more out of it then that gear will not go further it'll start to stall then I shift again and so on. what could it be? What should I check?

its a 90 will the test work on a 90?

From my experience when the CEL comes on its always been from an 02 censor going bad (or is bad).

+1 I was thinking maybe the 02 censor also.

I've had the light go on when I was running out of gas, which leads me to believe that it's pretty sensitive.

My car was built around 9 November, 1989, and the stomp test works.

If the stomp code dosen't work, your either doing it wrong or your TPS isn't working.

that wont cause your cel though you need to do stomp test for that (search "stomp test")

ok I just took the car in to get body work done so ill try next week and let you guys know.
