I am new here and to the Bimmer world. Sorry it took me so long to see the light. I picked up my 2005 Interlagos Blue rocket. I wish I could change my screen name now.
I have been a good old fashoned american V8 kinda guy. Well my buddy took me for a ride in his M3, so I had to have one. It is stock except for the muffler. No heated seats, nav, or sunshade. The rest of the options I think it has. This has to be the ultimate car. I have already searched here for many answers, but I will be asking questions soon.

Thanks guys. I put about three hundred miles on it today. I love this car!! Somehow the owner lost the owners manual. There are a few things that I don't know about the car. As soon as I have enough posts, I'll take pics of things and post. But maybe by then I will have figured things out.
One question off hand, do all M3's have duel climate control?

Scott,
Yes, individual climate control is standard. There is a manual on-line but my '03 did not have one either so I bit the bullet and paid the $35 for one. There are a lot of a-ha's in there.

I can't figure it out if it is duel climate. If not, oh well. There are too many other things to love about this car.

My 02' M3 does not have dual climate control. However, my old 95' M3 had dual climate control (2 Rotary dails). The E46 M3 is certainly not the fastest "straight line" car out there but you find that it is overall the most fun, enjoyable car out there. Welcome to the club!

once you have an ///M you will never go back. have fun and try some corners and track time. that is where this car will really stand out.
