ok, so im getting ready to drive my e21 home. i'm changing the oil, bleeding the brakes and clutch, changing lights, etc. it is insured and we are going to get it regestered and inspected. any other suggestions for what to do? oh and it ghas tires that only have 10 miles on them.

I don't know what condition yours are in, but you might want to change all your fuses just to be safe if it hasn't been used in a while. Most of my problems have been solved by simply changing the fuses. Sometimes they look good, but they don't make good enough contact.

just drive it, take some spares with you, and some coolant and oil
i drove a car 200km leaking water and oil, stopped every 20mins to top it up:rofl
and had to adjust the brakes when they stopped working:(

its a 15 mile drive, but the car hasnt been drivin at a speed of higher than 25 in almost2 years, so i just want to be prepared. it has been sitting at my dads car lot since then.

Just top off the fluids and take some exra oil and coolant with you. It will be just fine. 15 miles is nothing.

if it breaks on your way home, your dad can tow it from there on.
