I'm parting out yet another e21. Some of you might remember that I parted out a 1978 e21 a few months ago. I think things went pretty well, a lot of parts were pulled and saved from the scrap yard, and I was able to recoup my project costs.

Let me know if you guys need anything and shoot me an offer. If it doesn't rain this weekend I will start pulling the parts on Saturday. I'm keeping the following parts for my 2002 that will be receiving an s14 motor.

- gearbox
- lsd
- recaros (although I'll have two sets now so I will be posting one setup eventually.

The odomoter reads 109k. The motor has even compression across all cylinders and new plug wires.

how much for the whole sunroof assembly?

I'm needing a motor too (valve seals are shot, sucking oil at horrendous rates...), and at the moment to cheap to pop for $4K or so a good motor would cost. Was it a running car, or did it sit?

Re' the motor, the ODO has 109k on it. The guy I bought it from said it had good compression (125 straight across I beleive). The motor idled really high and the fuel hose coming out of the pump dumps about 1 gallon a minute on the ground so I had it towed home so I can't make any guarantees on the motor other than it runs. I couldn't imagine shipping the motor, but if you're local you're welcome to come check it out. I may spend a few minutes this weekend to fix that fuel leak so I can zip the thing around the block to verify the condition of the driveline and suspension.

Rear lights look OK, haven't looked closely for cracks. Front lights are euro spec, but one of the H4's is cracked.

Bumpers are complete and look good.

Steering wheel still has the leather and is in pretty good shape. Considering keeping it for my 2002 unless I get a very convincing offer.

Sunroof- I'll check that it operates correctly this weekend.

I'm keeping the half shafts for the 2002 (although I do have a spare from a 1978 320i I could sell).

I don't think it has the IS spoiler, I'll have to verify.

The hazard switch is MIA, so the blinkers don't work, thus I can not verify that the blinker stalk works.
