What size case and what ratio diff did the 528e's have?

I believe (but cannot say for certain) that all 528e's (E28's anyhow) have a non-LSD differential with 3.26:1 ratio. At least the smashed-up '88 in my driveway does. My '88 535i has the same ration, but this one's a LSD.

LSDs were optional in the 528e, like all E28s save the M5.

The ratio depends on whether or not it's an Auto or a 5-speed.
