When first driving from a cold start, I've been experiencing an incredibly stiff shift, especially going into second gear. I really have to force it in there. The temp up here has been anywhere from 15 F to 45 F. Once the car gets warmed up though, all is back to normal and I couldn't ask for a smoother shift.

Has anyone else experienced this type of problem, especially you folks driving in similarly cold weather? If so, is this normal and due only to the temperature?

It is probably the cold weather. I experience somewhat of the same thing when driving my 330 in the cold. Once the trans warms up everything is ok.

u have to let the tranny warm up like the engine b4 it starts to feel buttery smooth..

normal... due to air temp and trans temp. if your car still has low miles on it... expect the resistance to become less over time
