Hi..
New here. My car failed its MOT because the passenger side (left) wheel was fouling the bodywork. They said it was the new wheels as they were too big ( i hadnt got round to getting spacers yet) so i put the original alloys back on the car and had it tracked. but the problem is still there. the wheel is still hitting the arch.

The car is a 1994 E36 3.18i with its original BMW wheels 15inch on now. Does anyone have any ideas why? or what the problem could be?

the garage tell me it might be a steering problem, but will need an hour to investigate? could this be the case? Or are they just full of it???

is the car lowered ? i wouldnt expect the wheels to hit the arches unless its slammed but with 15's it shouldnt ... maybe the shocks or springs are dead ? might want to get a shock test, in germany they can do it at the dealership.
