Just raising some interest who might be in for going. We would be meeting on a dry weekend sometime in spring (March through May) propably a Saturday for a fun day at the Ring some lunch and a drive afterwards.

Just seeing if anyone would be in for this. Just add yourself to the list and possible give out some dates that might work for you and we will plan ahead and just keep watching the weather conditions.

Hi all newbie here..

Been to the ring before with my current car RX8 - and am planning a trip or two when the 335i gets here (March they say)

So was checking on the Nordschleife website for opening times yesterday, now the times and dates are not confimed but you guys should go double check as some of your proposed days they state they are not open to the public.

Now there opening times will change but thought I'd give you the heads up. no point finding a date you all agree on then not being able to go..

All the best and maybe I'll catch up with some of your there in the summer.

hmm maybe we should move it all together. i wont actually be able to make it due to going back to college. i got a week off over easter and thats it. so any weekend date is fine for me friday also works sometimes.

march is almost over.... so is there still any interst in doing a meet? Even if its not the ring just have a members meet or something, a cruise or something like that?

ive been wanting to run the ring in my car or either my bike.....

So to answer a few questions about this from the other thread, meeting up and driving together is a good idea. Moto its 64 euro for 4 laps, nothing needs to be done to your car but be aware that some insurance will not cover you car if you have a accident on a race track and yes gas coupons would be a good idea.
the only thing holding me back from sayin "yes this is a go". Is the weather currently sayin rain for saturday because my back tires are like slicks and its not too safe for me driving in the rain.

yeah i am not gona be there this saturday, ive got diner obligations then boys night out, besides the weather is gona blow.

its pretty simple to find lots of signs once you get off from the highway BUT i recomend mapquesting it cause once you hit the back roads from the highway it can get confusing !

OK heres MY plan, for ME and anyone else who wants. I want to meet in ktown at 1300 15 April, then leave Ktown a little after 1300 to drive to the ring. If anyone else wants to do this also get in touch with me so i dont leave without you.

Man Joe how fast were you going through those back roads to catch up to me that fast, i looked in my rear view and was like WTF:confused thought he was long gone.
That does look like a good place to stop at and check out, love the pics of the M5's on the track. Did you see the trailer ball on the blue one?

I stoped there at the test shop and at that gas station for a snack and soda. That back road was really fun to drive on but you get stuck behind too many slow people. It took me just over a hour to get home from the time i actually headed home from nurnurg. So you could say i was hauling arse man.....
