Hey guys,

My M3 is starting to get up there in miles..70k plus and i'm starting to replace little things before they break i.e. bushings, bearings, etc.

Any reccomendations or suggestions of what parts to replace before they go? Or parts that will likely go at higher mileage? I just want to fix problems before they arise or potentially cause additional issues.

Thanks in advance!

Chris

My car went 92k miles ... nothing more than regular maintanence is needed. You may want to check the belts and such to make sure they aren't cracking.

Ya, but that was determined not the fault of the catalytic converters, but instead it was caused by the coil plugs that just happened to go bad when I was on a long trip. The coils were not firing in turn just throwing raw fuel into the cats which in turn caused them to over heat and melt which plugged the exhaust.

It seems like my car is pretty much following that same path. Just wanted to see what other owners were experiencing out there.
