Has Inspection 2 been done? That's a big cost around then.

Otherwise, the mileage is nothing. These cars are well enough engineered to run for alot more than that.

And the CD changer is worthless. For less money, you can get a DICE iPod interface that pugs into the changer system and an iPod which will hold way more than the changer and can be controlled using the steering wheel controls.

valve adj., fluid changes, belts check etc. It's around 1200 to 1800 depending on what you need. It sounds like a nice deal. See if the dealer really wants to move it by asking him to do the Inspection II to seal the sale. Hope it works out for you.:round

ahh i think im ok, i have all the codes for what was done exactly and they told me they belive it has been done and will explain every code to me thursday when i return(it was past 8pm when we started to speak about this and pulled up the code sheets on what has been done )

i have the list of codes and can post them if any one can break them down.:redspot

a little about the car
-clean car fax
-new tires
-inside looks mint
-out side looks mint
-oil changed
-new breaks
-all options except nav :( and cd changer (it seems)
-smg
-one owner(not bitch passed)

the rod bearing recall has been done they belive but im making sure to be safe and will know thursday as well when i can return .....if it has not been done what do you suggest i do ?
-pass it up ?
or
-have them do it and still buy it ?

is this the max you want to spend? For not too much more, you can get a car in better condition and less miles (I say better condition because a 30k mi car generally has less wear, not always the case). I say if your absolutely sold on this one or tapped out at that amount, make sure they do the inspection II at the very least. If the dealer's willing to let it go so low, you may want to do more research. There's usually a reason they are letting it go so cheap. Have them provide all service records. Carfaxx isn;t always safe. Call your insurance agent and have them run the vin for claims, that's usually the tell-all. Check all body panels for vin tags and make sure when you drive it to listen to EVERY noise it makes. Best of luck!

and as Stuttgart mentioned/asked, is it Certified? Not CPO'd would be a deal breaker for me, that's just me though.
