in my Galant (4G63T), when I let off the gas after pushing 10-15 psi, the car dumps a HUGE amount of smoke behind me...almost like a Bond car.
when cruising along or accelerating under vacuum, I see nothing out the back window though that could just mean that I'm pushing out less smoke. this is 100% oil smoke, not coolant/water.
is this a sign of leaky turbo seals or should I start looking for something else like bad piston rings?
as it stands, the car already has good compression across all 4 cylinders with only one slightly out of spec.
I just noticed this issue after fixing a huge vacuum leak under the hood off the PCV valve and installed a new PCV valve in the process.
your thoughts and ideas are welcome.
