well i put my new exaust (well semi-new) on this weekend. i got the exaust @ pick n pull off of a 79. it was a fairly new ansa system, i had to cut and weld a few sections because of the cat was longer and collecters were different. but it sounds good and i have better performance goin up hills.

i thought it was the cat, but its just a silencer, it sounds decent. but now i have to adjust mt air/fuel mixture because its running rich.

id figure you were running more lean if you have more air moving through it? I dont really know much about CIS though, just wondering.

did you have a cat on your exhaust before you put the upgraded system in (that does not have a cat)? It will usually smell alot different between having a cat and not having one. After i took the cat off my truck it smelled a lot like an old car, but not really a "rich" smell. Check the plugs out and see what they look like, then you can know for sure.

Yes i had a cat on before. the plugs dont look bad at all a little carbon build up but not bad
