Crusty320 01-14-2007, 02:10 AM :dunno are you looking for something? just a little unclear.... BruceH 01-14-2007, 02:32 PM I am sorry that I didn't get back to you on the 323 swaybar set. It is more trouble than it's worth to ship them to Canada. rjk3rd320is 01-14-2007, 05:53 PM this is a good idea, maybe we can make a stickey of this uptop? and everyone can post parts they have for sale.. maybe make the forum a little more organized? welderman 01-14-2007, 07:56 PM that was my intention for starting this thread. I have a whoooooole wishlist for my car and it would be nice to see who has what for parts laying around that they want to get rid of or dont need anymore. Hey Bruce no problem i know what you mean some stuff is really a pain to ship. Sometimes i have no problems getting stuff and other times it just disappears never to be seen of again and its frustrating. I bid on alot of stuff on ebay but its kind of a hit or miss things sometimes. I can get something up here in seven days sometimes it takes five weeks or not at all. Not sure what that is. BruceH 01-14-2007, 08:04 PM I don't mind shipping the swaybars but the extra paperwork for Canada is a pain. Let me look further into the process. FedEx makes it easy but these are waay too big for FedEx. UberNoob 01-14-2007, 08:12 PM I've shipped and received things that weigh 3x as much as a set of swaybars using fedex and it's never a problem... just box them up, and bring them to a kinko's and give them the canada address, and they'll take care of it. BruceH 01-14-2007, 09:44 PM Yeah I am prob alot more familiar with International shipping than you realize. I am sure that welderman doesn't want to pay the list price from Kinkos to ship the bars. I am also being lazy as I don't want to do the customs work. welderman 01-14-2007, 11:59 PM uhm i wasnt trying to cause any trouble. I can understand both points of view. I currently have a rear callaway sway bar coming up from the states and had something as big as bbs front spoiler shipped up. The spoiler i paid dearly for shipping it up here but well its a bbs spoiler if i want one bad i had to pay for it. you guys are lucky with the population density down there and the amount of cars. On the prairies its hard to find some of the stuff a person wants without going overseas or to the states. I mean if i could find the Canadian version of bavauto i would be soooooo happy but so far i havent learned of anything Greg323i 01-15-2007, 01:21 AM You think shipping to Canada is difficult? Try having things shipped to an island on the other side of the world! I'm waiting for urethane rack mount bushings from BMP. I had them ship them to my sister in the US because she will ship to me for 1/10th that of what BMP wanted to charge me. She can also include some other things that I need in the same package. AlaskaBimmer 01-15-2007, 04:17 AM I'm in the same boat with BMP they wanted to charge me $250.00 to ship $450.00 of parts. So last year when we went to the inlaws house I just drove to Tyler (about 1.5 hour drive) and picked up the parts at BMPs store and mailed them home parcel post for $20.00....Alaska may as well be over seas for shipping since they won't mail postal, and there is no UPS ground. Fed-x second air is pricey. Fed-x Freight though is way cheaper had my motor shipped that way and it got here in 4 days cost $180.00 I also picked it up at the freight terminal so that made it way cheaper since they didn't have to load it on a truck and deliver it somewhere. e21gangsta 01-15-2007, 12:11 PM i still have those side skirts for sale. E36Chubbs 01-15-2007, 01:08 PM Hey, I havn't found anything cheaper on that Motorsport Front End, or Zender Rear Skirt. So I still have a Motorsport Front End from Korman Zender Rear Skirt Ireland Engineering 2002 Turbo Flares |
