These have metal impellers ,stronger bearings, and a better flow design. Everything you would want if your car see's the track.

The BMW OE Pumps have composite impellers that is a design imrovement over the older plastic design. These are the best on the market for stock replacement short of the EMP pump.

You'd have to be insane not to run one of these in a car that gets tracked.. I just installed one in a track car not long ago.. the car is running measureably cooler.

E39 1999-2002 chassis 525 & 528 - [5 series]
Not ready to jump on this GB today, but I have a question about these EMP Stewart pumps. I see them listed for '99 and later 528i's, but for all e36 6cyl cars. However, the BMW part number for the early e39 water pumps is the same for the e36. Check it out:
