Hey guys, Krisko checking in from the ATL. I'm going skiing 2/2-6 and I need a place to stay. I'm not sure if I'm skiing Copper or Winter Park yet.

If Copper I'd like to stay in Dillon, I remember there's a motel on the main road that's popular with locals. I can't remember the name. If I go to Winter Park I have no idea where to stay.

It'll just be me and my 7yo son so 4 star accomodations aren't required. I would like something with a hot tub that's near a Brewpup (hence the Dillon idea). Budge is about $100 a nite or so. Thanks for any advice.

Based upon your qualifications I would just call up random places in the areas you are interested in.

If you decide on Winter Park, the Zephyr lodge is slopeside. Ski in and ski out. Mary Jane also has the Iron Horse lodge which is near the base of Mary Jane. In town WP has a new Super 8 and many bed and breakfasts. Try Winter Park ski area's website. They sometimes have lodging deals... Let me know if you have any more questions I might be able to answer. I've been going up to WP for about the last 27 years.....

Qulity Inn in Silverthorne isn't bad. I know there are some places in Frisco RIGHT by I70. I think one is a Super 8.

I found a pretty good deal at the LaQuinta in Silverthorne for $71 per night. I'm still open to other ideas but I doubt I can find a better price. I also bought some discount coupons on ebay for Copper...$47 daily lift ticket and $23 daily kid ticket.

Thats what I meant! I stayed there a few years ago for 2 nights waiting for other friends to get out there. They have a pool and an outdoor hot tub thats kinda nice and quasi private. There is also a Old Chicago across the back parking lot if you don't feel like hopping in the car to go get food after a long day.
