I was at the Detroit Auto Show yesterday and sat in a 2007 3 series convertible. Beautiful car but the rear seat leg room was very tight and of course the trunk space was minimal with the top down.

Yeah, verts are tough on backseat passengers unless you go with something like a Sebring. And that's one UGLY car IMO.

Haven't seen the new 3 series vert in person, but the pictures and flash animations on bmwusa.com look saaaahweet!

Its the same as the coupe, right? I sat in the 335i coupe and I had enough room.....I'm not too tall though. I can't wait for the vert.

It appeared to have less rear seat legroom than the coupe.

I did not ask as I am interested in the Coupe.

I will be flying up to go to the Detroit show next week. Can't wait to see the convertible. If no one has an answer by then I will try to get details on pricing.
