hi guys, we have this e36 sedan and i have some 17x9s sitting around. don't have any 245 street tires to check with, and wanna see what this is gonna entail before going ahead. is this just a basic roll to get these to fit on the back or what?

I did it on my E36 M3. Wheels were et40.

ryan, are those 42mm offset IIRC? you should be fine with a light fender roll. chris p. runs 255s on 17x9s on his 96+ m3 sedan and he had to roll the rears. Mine are rolled too with 255s.

Additional rear camber will also help... Yesterday I toyed with an E36M3 Coupe and 255/40r17 Azenis on Kosei's. IMO if we could have gotten more than -1.1 degree camber it would have been ideal. We had to raise the car instead, the front was no problem with 10mm spacers.

whoops .. the RGRs on my E36 were ET42, not ET40. Fenders were not rolled, but running 245/40 PS2s.

My 97 sedan with rolled fenders is running 265/35-18 Neova's on 18x9 BBS RCJ wheels. They barely fit, and require camber and toe changes to clear, but they will work if you want to go to the effort. I can't flare the fenders due to SCCA STU rules.
