Nice ride BTW. :) MParallel 01-11-2007, 07:29 PM any coupe dorr panel 92-99 can be used for a cabrio the only difference is the cabrio passenger side has a different door pull but it doesn't make any difference at all i have 98 m3 lux coupe panels in my 95 cabrio Which Lux ones you have? The one with the many stitching or the one with the double diagonal line and padded armrest? Do you also have the Lux leathered and stitched doorpull handles? kosta 01-11-2007, 08:13 PM the quilted ones double diagonal lines with padded armrest and wooden handles i send the handles to germany, they are now cf which other panels are you referring to? the full leather ones? + i bought the extended leather package which does the underdash and complete center console MParallel 01-11-2007, 09:09 PM the quilted ones double diagonal lines with padded armrest and wooden handles i send the handles to germany, they are now cf which other panels are you referring to? the full leather ones? + i bought the extended leather package which does the underdash and complete center console Ah that's even better. Someday I also want the lower dash leathered like some individuals. Where'd you get it from? I also wonder how they do the leathering on the glovebox, because from stock, the shutline of the glovebox doesn't line up with the one of the centre console. So the last strip of the glovebox isn't leathered. I wonder if they did something special or not to attach it. I also have these cars, with accompaning doorhandles. (you can't see the handles though) http://www.idon-industries.com/bimmer/doorcardfront.jpg http://www.idon-industries.com/bimmer/doorcardrear.jpg Other type is this one, that you see alot in the USA: http://www.idon-industries.com/bimmer/modena.jpg And what about this: http://www.idon-industries.com/bimmer/apart2.jpg and NICE: http://www.idon-industries.com/bimmer/nice1.jpg kosta 01-11-2007, 10:17 PM my doors are like the modena but black and the last picture is my extended leather but all black and stitched.. i got it from bmw individual the glovebox has the extra strip like the last pic RayMan 01-12-2007, 09:56 PM Does anyone have any idea why the convertibles have different passenger-side door pulls? MParallel 01-13-2007, 06:28 PM Does anyone have any idea why the convertibles have different passenger-side door pulls? Tthe reason the driver's side doesn't have these -> the mirror switch. And, since verts lack a graphandle that other cars have on the roof above the side windows for passengers to hold on to, it doubles as that. If it only had the stock doorpull, since it's horizontal, would be very uncomfortable. clarkerussell 01-20-2007, 11:24 AM Two questions: 1) I'm assuming this is an automatic, right? If so, is the shifter gate on this car specific to a certain year? 2) What's with the extra row of switches where the "sunglass" pocket normally resides (just below the computer). Thanks. I didn't realize that the e36 was offered with SMG... MParallel 01-21-2007, 09:26 PM where can i find the surrounding for the gearbox. would love to have it on my 328i lol So would many more. But the opening is too small, since the SMG stick will only goes forward and backwards (well ok you can pull it to the left in D to go into semi-auto mode) but still much less travel as a manual gearbox. Maybe if you fit a M roadster gearshifter (which will make for the shortest shortshiter) it will work out. |
