Anyone familar with Rosso Motorsports? A very good friend of mine (Jake) was hired to work there full time this week and is a tuner. He's done wonders on a couple of my non-BMW cars as well as many friends cars.

Press release:
Effective January 8th, 2007.

We have great news for all of you performance enthusiasts. Dieman Motorsports has finished negotiations and as of Monday, January 8th, 2007, Dieman Motorsports and most of its affiliated vendors will become the property of Rosso Motorsports in Stillwell, Kansas. This also means Jake Diehl, owner of Dieman Motorsports, will become a full time employee of Rosso Motorsports. Rosso is a 4,800 square foot facility located at the corner of 206th and Metcalf just south of Stillwell, Kansas.

Rosso Motorsports is a full time Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Bentley service center. It currently employees; Chris Hill, a 36 year Ferrari tech, Scott Sweat, a 5 year Ferrari tech, and Matthew Vesey, a world renowned auto detailer. Rosso’s intentions are to expand it’s line-up to Vipers, Subarus, Evolutions, and beyond. Dieman Motorsports and Jake Diehl were brought on board to develop this program to its fullest extent.

With the affiliation of Rosso and Dieman Motorsports we look forward to providing you world class service at a world class facility. You can currently visit Rosso Motorsports at www.rossomotorsports.com OR www.myspace.com/rossomotorsports . Rates and services will become more updated as the Rosso website gets more up to speed.

AEM tuning and service though will no longer be handled by Jake Diehl. AEM will be handled by Modified by K.C. in Merriam, Kansas. You can reach them still through the Dieman Motorsports e-mail server. Contact chad@diemanmotorsports.com for all of your AEM tuning services.

I'm curious if anyone is familar with this shop and has any feedback as I know little about them. I'll be down in KC this Saturday to check out the shop first hand, and pick up some used r-comps from Jake for next season.

When I was a property manager one of the property owners took his Ferrari there. He really seemed to like it there and said they were great people.

I'll be in town around 11:00 and I'm going straight to the shop... if anyone is bored and wants to come check it out too.

I don't think Rosso "officially" opens for business until the 15th. I'm sure Jake is at the shop getting things ready. I stopped by last week after they installed two of the lifts. The place was looking real good.

The weather was too bad down in KC last weekend, so we didn't go down.

Pending another storm, I'm planning to be down to Rosso this Saturday to meet up with Jake and pick up a dozen tires from him. :p

Perhaps I'll see one of you guys out there? Should be hitting the shop around 11-11:30 AM or so.

On schedule for tomorrow.

Will be having lunch somewhere with a couple of my KC Auto-x buddies while I'm in town.

website is garbage.

It is smaller than I expected, but very very nice.

Got so see a regular Ferrari 360 and a 360 Stradale (drool), a couple old school rides as well.

Worth checking out indeed. I'm pretty excited my friend Jake is going to be working there.
