In the center armrest the supposedly climate controlled cupholder appears to accommodate a special cup. Where do I find this and why wouldn't it be included with the car? Does this really work anyways?

I noticed that in my car, the vents in the cupholder. Haven't used it yet and didn't have time to read the owners manual due to work.

My gf gave me a BMW cup for Christmas, maybe that's the one that fits.

I found mine! There is a button that switches it on and it dDOES do some cooling. Its purpose is to cool a soda can and not necessarily a cup.

I use it in the winter for warming up my sunglasses so they dont fog up when I put them on.

The only thing I've heard that fits well in there is a pop can.

I believe that the rear climate controls are the ones that control it the temp.

I thought that was one of the neater features.

Then again, none of my other cars have cupholders period so I am easily amused. lol

I had an E39 BMW prior to this car. I basically didn't have cupholders either!!
