When I looked over the accessories for the 3-Series on bmwusa.com, I didn't see anything about a cargo net. Friday, when I ordered my new 328i, the dealership confirmed that BMW really doesn't offer one. Huh? Am I the only person who thinks having to put all the groceries back in the bags when I get home is annoying?

P.S. I see BMW does offer an all-weather cargo liner, which might help if the eggs break on impact, but I don't see this as a very good solution :)

I seem to remember some accessory hooks that went in the trunk that you would put the plastic grocery bag handles on to keep them from dumping out. Don't have my accessory catalog handy at the moment. :shifty

Use the container where the spare tire would have been

Hi Meeh,
Thanks for the info. What year is your car? I found a scan of a BMW E90 accessories brocuhure online (I don't have permission to post URLs, so you'll have to paste this in by hand and fix it: www dot e90post dot com /forums/showthread.php?t=23522). It says 2006 but it features the Coupe. Is this the same brochure you're talking about? I don't see a cargo net in there (but I may be blind).
Thanks,
-Dan
If you go to bavauto dot com and look up part # 51 47 0 010 557 you'll see it. It's the same part # for bmw dealership. BTW, I have a sedan but it should be the same for the coupe based on part # from bavauto dot com check it out.

Welp, I called the parts dept. at my local dealer, and they do indeed have a # for a cargo net for the '07 3-Series, so I think my problem is solved.
