Quick question for '99 and newer V8 owners:
While idling and standing in "Park", when you "blurp" the gas pedal (single, fast momentary flooring), do RPMs build up quickly, or is there a brief drop in RPMs almost to the point of stalling, prior to build-up? I also hear a brief suction sound when hitting the gas.
I am trying to solve this problem but nothing helped so far. I have replaced:
MAF, OSV and gaskers/O-rings, Intake Manifold Gaskets, Valve Cover Gaskets, spark plugs. My well-equipped indy can't see anything wrong - no codes and diagnostics check out OK. O2 sensors and Cats seem (to him) OK.
TIA for any ideas. I have 83k miles on a '99 740i.
