German Pride 10 01-08-2007, 01:11 PM I sold my whole deal for $110CDN to a local guy. That should give you a good benchmark asking price.
amancuso 01-08-2007, 02:30 PM Thanks!
dhay31 01-14-2007, 07:02 AM How much is $110CDN to US$?
amancuso 01-14-2007, 01:14 PM something like 85 or 90 dollars maybe even less of a gap these days.

That would fetch you well over $200 here!

I have one here. In absolute new state. No scratch, no mark, metal housing still shining new. Build year is 1998.
But..as I see US prices...It's not an option to send and sell it to someone overseas.
dhay31 01-17-2007, 02:33 AM Will the CD changer work with an aftermarket head unit?

Nope.
dieseldriver99 01-19-2007, 06:07 PM Can't you just sell it on eBay?

MParallel 01-19-2007, 06:10 PM I'd have it, but too bad, the style CD frontloader HU I have doesn't have the connection for the BMW CD changer...
Only the dual display version does.

Yeah same here. Don't like the look af a cassette tape player, so this is the best option.
Keep in mind the only iPod connectivity option is the (hardwired) FM modulator. You can forget about the IceLink.
Mine for sale? Oh no, I went through lots of trouble finding this OEM CD frontloader.
dhay31 01-21-2007, 12:27 PM Does the steering wheel with the controls work for the OEM single CD head unit and the installed changer? If so, the hunt is on for my car. I took out the factory head unit because I don't own any cassettes that people need to know that I own. It shows your age.:buttrock

haha for real! My old tapes are from circa 1991 when I sat in front of the TV recording music with the build-in mic....oh boy!
There's no e36 model steering wheel with button functionality.
