I'm wondering peoples opinions on what are the best tires (all-season) for 2000 328 I, w/ sport package? Also, its time for new windshield wipers. What kinds work the best, i had the Piaa super silicone I think, but for some reason the blade would never stay on the windshield on the driver's side. Anyone got any suggestions?

Regarding the tires, the people who can best answer this question may be the experts at the Tire Rack. Google them, give 'em a call, and tell them the specifics. Over the years I've gotten consistently good info from them. They sell just about anything you'd want (at great prices) so they have no ax to grind about defending one make of tire over another. At least that's been my experience.

As a matter of fact i'm on the website right now lookin. Basically I'm looking for the best for your buck, you know? I dont want to spend alot on tires, but i dont want to get some cheap peice neither...I had to Continentals on there before but my mechanic says he doesn't like them. He recommended Dunlops, or Pirellis but I dont really know too much about tires to be able to differentiate

If you're looking for an all-season tire, the Dunlop SP Sport 5000 Asymmetrical is the way to go in that size. TireRack is carrying them for $109/ea right now (~$20 less than Pirelli).

I can tell you that the wet and dry handling performance of this tire is at the top of the "ultra-high performance all-season" segment. This tire also offers limited all-season capability. It is meant to be able to handle sub-freezing temperatures, and light snow. Anything more than the occasional dusting of snow in the winter and I would absolutely recommend getting dedicated winter tires.
I use Dunlop SP Sport Maxx (summer tire) on my 330Ci, and I've been very pleased. The TireRack reviews support my opinion as well.
The SP Sport 5000 Asym. would be my tire of choice if I had to use an all-season tire.
Hope this helps, PM me if you have more questions.

Dunlop makes a great tire. I am also a huge fan of Yokohama tires...if Yoko makes an all season, it will be another good choice.

That's not exactly what I meant. I was suggesting that you use the website to get their toll-free number. Then call them and talk to a real person (preferably while you still have their website on your screen).
The people I've actually talked with at the Tire Rack have dramatically reduced the amount of time I've needed to spend hunting through their website or getting tire questions for a specific E46 situation sorted out on the Internet.

Yeah I hear you on that one. I'm just trying to get as much info as possible from people's experiences as well so i can make a decision. I'll give them a call
