You're correct.. You can have either the EuroTray or the Cup Holders. Americans get cup holders from the dealer and Euorpeans get EuroTrays, hence they do not understand while we we would cup holders since we're driving but that is another story.

It replaces the cup holder. In Germany the cars are not fitted with the cup holders only the tray.
