:help :help .. my E36 the fan blad just hit my Upper Radior Hose (that runs on the upper side of the Radiator Shroud) .. One of the blade on the Fan Clutch is basically bent out of shape, so it keeps hitting the hose (the clip that holds the hose are now broken) ..

Anyone in the Socal Area have a FAN Tool i can borrow for a day just to remove this Fan Clutch.. I will pay to borrow, just need one ASAP.. need to get the car to shop and have some work done so i can take it out again.. Please PM or reply with your email .. I will pay to borrow your Fan Tool !!! I tried all other possible way to try and remove the fan clutch but its just to damn tight, and best way is only using the Fan Tool.. :help :help !! thanks..

use a long screw driver, insert between the pulley bolts next to the fan. it works the same, i did it like 1 month ago when i was changin out my radiator n thermostat housing and other stuff.

you wedge the long screwdriver between the edges of the pulley bolts so that if you hold the screwdriver still, the pulley will also hold still w/ the screw driver therefor letting you use your 32mm crescent wrench to break free the fan nut w/o spinning the pulley. you might only need to wedge it between one pulley bolt if this doesnt work. for me and some other people, the screw driver worked fine. or a thin long flathead.

I just went through this ordeal.

Easiest way - go to autozone and rent the ford 4.9L fan removal tool. It works perfectly. Get a rubber mallet and just bang your 32mm or 1 1/4 wrench and it'll pop off.

THe barton Rd Exit off the 215 or an easier way to go is just go to the 215/10 east interchange and take waterman south
