I am posting this to help a fellow Vizsla owner.

I had my two V's in the park tonight, when Hunter (the oldest) ran out
of
the park to greet another dog. It all happened so quick. He was hit
by a
car and the car sped up dragging him for about 25 feet. Somehow he
broke
loose, ran back in the park and did a big loop around me. He did not
listen
to my commands at all and he continuing running out the other side of
the
park. He was clearly freaked out and hurt so he wasn't listening to
me. I
don't know how badly he is hurt. We have been out on foot and by car
looking for him for three hours. I don't know what else to do. I
don't
know if he will make it thru the night if he is still alive because it
is
about 20 degrees with over a foot of snow on the ground.

We run almost everyday (on leash) around the city that we live in, so
he
knows the area very well. However, he is hurt and probably in shock so
I
don't know if he can find his way home. I just can't bear the thought
of
him out there all night hurt and scared.

I live in Medford, Massachusetts. Hunter is a 4 year old Vizsla. He
weighs
52 pounds. He has his tags on with our address and phone number. If
you
hear anything about him, my number is 781 391-4794.
Thank you,
Robin

If anyone from the area sees this dog, please catch him and call the owner.
