I wish the US has those cars. I loved them ever since I saw them on TOP GEAR.

The minute that thing comes out in the US, I'll be at the dealer lol. There is no way the 330 engine inside a 1 series body/chasis couldn't be fun and your video shows exactly what that car is about, BMW proved to the world it knows what it's doing by going against the trends and making its hatch rear wheel drive.

Haven't you installed a LSD on yours though? I might be mistaken.

Anyway - the BMW 130i isn't flawless, its ride is stiff as anything and could do with a bit of help in the rear suspension. There is a lot of competition building now that BMW have set the standard - Mazda have released their budget version (fwd 190kw 2.0 turbo) - Audi are releasing the S3, and VW have the Golf awd R32.

Hopefully BMW goes ahead with the 135i to resecure a strong pole position.

Just took delivery of my 130 a few days ago. I didn't know you could have that much fun legally..........well almost legally. Mine is Sapphire black with the 18" wheel option. Investigating fitment of a Quaife LSD.

ugh i hate that word.... front wheel drive. for a second i almost thought the one series was going to be front wheel drive then i woke up on the floor not knowing where i was... scary!
