View Full Version : Taylor BMW in Augusta moving, discounts
PDWebb 01-04-2007, 03:35 PM I was just up at Taylor BMW in Augusta to pick up a couple parts. While there I asked about this move I heard about. Looks like Taylor group bought the Jaguar/Land Rover dealership down the road and has decided to switch the two brand's locations giving BMW the bigger and better piece of real estate.
I then asked about the discounts on their inventory. They are offering more than I expected. So if anyone is in the market for a new car, may be worth your time to check with them.
New vehicles that grabbed my interest:
black Z4M Coupe
silver M6
red Z4M roady
half a dozen 335i sedans
black M3 convt
etc.
Just thought I'd pass this along.
If anyone wants me to take a look at any of them, let me know.
Their move is happening the last weekend of Jan.
///Mshenanigans 01-04-2007, 04:54 PM yeah, i saw that m coupe a few months ago and almost sat in it...and probably would have gotten myself however many thousand in debt the car was if i had.....gorgeous. ah well, someday maybe
PDWebb 01-04-2007, 06:10 PM I spent a little time in it today, felt good.
98silver328i 01-04-2007, 06:23 PM Do they have any E36 M3's on the lot that they are selling cheap? Or are the deals only on new cars?
PDWebb 01-04-2007, 06:40 PM No e36 m3's. Used cars are always more negotiable than new cars and with the move I'd bet one could get the used car sales dept. to work harder.
They do have a slightly used 2006 M3.

That's probably (well, definitely) out of my budget range, but thanks anyways.
PDWebb 01-04-2007, 07:18 PM I know of one down in Fields BMW in Orlando, they are getting ready to wholesale it. A 97 for somewhere around 13k wholesale price. On their site they are asking something like 18k.
QuickSilv3r 01-04-2007, 10:07 PM lol, I've known about the move fer like 6 months. Worked for Hank Aaron for the two years he was down here...all of a sudden I am working for BMW now, YAY! Check out my other thread about the upcommin CCA meet being held at the "new" bimmer dealership 2/1.
///M3///M5 01-04-2007, 10:09 PM We need to meet up man.
PDWebb 01-04-2007, 11:14 PM You bet. I told Ben the other day about the last time I saw you, I was on the HD and you guys were in the M5. It was great seeing the car for the first time.

Do you know where this CCA meeting is going to be held? At the location across from Club Car?
PDWebb 01-05-2007, 12:51 PM Yeah, they are moving to that location. It will certainly give them more space. I wonder if they'll park any of the X5's up on those 'rocky hills' the Land Rovers are currently displayed on.
