Alright guys,
My car is in mississippi but i am going to limp it home here to df/w this weekend. Is there any resident " expert" on obd1 that can help me figure out what wire has gone bad/come loose ? I think i am having a sensor problem.. but since i am not educated on OBD1 conversion's very well.. i need someone to help. Anyone know enough to help out? thanks!

lol... yeah it is when i actually have it. ya know there was not one thing wrong with it until i money shifted. After I misshifted..... that was the end of an era. I think after I iron out these last few things I will be okay.. at least I hope. You would think spending close to 11 thousand dollars in repair would get you a car that works ya know.

So are you going to be suing anybody anytime soon?

I would hope not, because it would be a bad idea.

I was half kidding. :p

But it seems like Aaron's been having problems after problems ever since he got his car back from the engine job.

I don't know both sides of the story but I sure would be pissed if this was happening to me!

Well since this is an electrical problem, I cant exactly point fingers and scream bloody murder. I am just trying to be cool about this and just fix the stupid little issue that I am sure it is.

As for " bad idea" out of curiosity, why do you say that sean? I have no plans on doing this, but just satisfy my curiosity and answer why you said that.

I'm just saying i don't think you have a grounds for suit against him. Did he ever give you a written deadline for which he would have the car done? But anyway, it doesn't involve me so i should i just kept my mouth shut.

lol oh this has nothing to do with time period of the car being completed. true he gave me his word which was as good as bird shit, but its about the quality of the work completed.
But .. just for arguments sake, this isnt a mechanical problem. The integrity of the actual engine ( the parts he worked on) dont seem to be an issue. This is a stupid electrical thing so it can't be exactly attributed to him ya know?
But I see your point sean.

Well Aaron, I sure hope your car is up to 100% before the autocross season begins!

Are you guys planning on attending the LSC BMWCCA auto-x events this year?
