Hi guys, I'm new here but I know some of you already.

Big sohut out to Joecool Carl (can't remember SN) and tpatteson (sp?) who all seem to share my taste in weaponry.... :)

Anyway, so I found a car that seems to be pretty much just what I'm looking for but I wonder if you guys could offer some opinions or feedback on it.

I've been looking for a 540 for some time now and I have come across this:

So it is a touch older than I wanted but the mileage is only slightly more than a 2000 model I saw for $5k more. Also, it sounds as though he has replaced almost all of the problem areas that typically crop up on these cars. Apparently he has had it for 6 years and it was worked on by someone named Ron at a shop (can't remember the name offhand) in Alpharetta or Roswell.

So, does anyone know this car? Any comments or opinions?

That's pretty cheap for what it is. And from I've heard (don't take my word for it), the '97's don't have nearly the problems that the '98 and ups have.

OK, so i just made the deal. Looks like I'll be in the ATL area (I live in NC as of 4 months ago) to pick it up this weekend! WOOHOO! Now I can be a true member of bf.c.... lol

It's going well actually.. Company flew me out to London for a couple of weeks. And there is a possiblity that I will be flying out to Bahrain, and then Singapore for 2-3 weeks.
