Nah too far away, that'll be probably a 75 minute drive... Give my regards--

jblack- Do you know if we're allowed to bring cameras to Detroit or not? Would Cindy know about that?

Aaron...you can bring cameras to the Cleveland show, and I've seen pics of the LA Show, so I think so - worst case, you'll have to leave the camera in the bus! 40 people going...looks like fun! Let me tell you, if I were you, I'd pass on the social too, if I lived where you do - an hour and a half is just too far for wings when you will see everybody on Sunday anyway!

Topaz - the new Quaker is one exit east of Midway Mall ! By the way, my wife is a Bobcat grad! You will get a bachelor's degree, but your liver will have a doctorate when you graduate! We better see you at a driving school this summer!

Clevelend Show? I'm talking about one in Detroit :)

I'm not sure if I want to bother bringing the camera...but it only takes one missed moment for me to regret it.

I'll drag it along...hopefully somebody will know on the bus anyways.

Aaron....I just mentioned the Cleveland show because that is the only reference I have....this is my first trip to the Detroit one, but I'm guessing the rules are the same.....

Topaz.....Ya, definately Lorain....but it is just outside of N. Ridgeville if you take Lorain Rd. The schools are going to be posted on the web after the next board meeting, which is early February. We normally have two schools - one at Nelson Ledges, on at Mid Ohio - but we may have either 3 or 4 this year, adding a second Mid Ohio date and a date at the new track at Beaverun just north of Pittsburgh. Lots of opportunity this year! We may even see Aaron put the beast on the track!

The "Beast" may be trackworthy later in the summer...definitely need some stiffer sway bars before I do that though.

Yeah that's the same Nelson Ledges...I made it out to a school there last year to observe, didn't drive though. Actually, I had to haul ass to get there because I went to a wedding at noon and got up there for an hour before I was fashionably late to the reception :)

I have to see the track out in Beaver County...but I remember hearing that they're charging a LOT of money for weekend days.

They have an unusual setup at Beaver.....it is less than Mid Ohio if we take a Friday-Saturday or a Sunday-Monday. It is about the same as Mid Ohio for the normal Saturday Sunday deal. I have to check it out this year!

I remember the fr/sat or sun/mon conversation...we'll have time to jabber about it on sunday :)

My car still needs a lot of work before I'll terrorize a track with it...suspension is too squishy, 15" wheels are NOT cutting it, and too much body roll. It is a lot of steel though...and I'm not exactly a lightweight.

And life goes on...
