Next Semester I'm gonna be taking Eng102, ECN111, and a Math and a Science.

I'd like to hear teacher recommendations for these classes if you guys have any.

I also would like to know your thoughts on Math 117 VS. Math 194. No one has really been able to explain the difference.

My final question is about Science. What do you recommend for an easy science credit? I hate labs and expaparments with a passion so please keep that in mind. Chm 107 (Chemistry & Society) sounds OK.

My opinion is that Math 117 is easier than 194. Stick with that, in the beginning it's mostly review from hy skew.
The best ECN111 teacher was the one that I had. I believe his name begins with an M. He had a Russian guy that taught most of the class though. His name was Igor Lukashin. Run some names by me and I will be able to tell you.
Lastly, do NOT take Geology for your science. I decided to go with that and wasted my time because I only got a D. Sleeping through lectures on rocks will do that to you

Take 117 with farmer if possible. I have all the tests if you need them. Also i would suggest geology, it is the easiest of the lab sciences.. that or geography. I got an a in both.

for eng101&102, i think most of the teachers are really young, like just outta grad school. but there are some profs.....but make sure you do NOT get ms. Van for eng102 (none of the assignments make sense and she's a man-hater-f!#@!in-piece-of-S@$@!!! ).

ecn111, one of my friends had a good prof (i'll try to let ya know which one)......and the guy i had wasn't too bad (i forget his name but he had really white hair and a monotone voice): i slept during most of the lectures, did crappy on the test (altho that's cuz i hardly ever studied), and got away w/ a C

i'm not to familar w/ mat 117 or 194........altho ASU uses 194 for new classes that have never been tought before, which could be good (teacher doesn't know what they're doing and lets the students decide on grading and crap) or bad (teacher still doesn't know what they're doing and screws everyone over). but in my experience, most times it turns out good, but ur left really confused.
not sure if these teachers teach those classes, but i would recommend igor fulman (i had him for mat271 and it was soo easy, half the class got A's); and Hal Smith (i had him for mat274, he teaches really well....homework is optional, and i never used my book for that class)

chm and phy suck, altho i had to take chm 114 (not sure about 107). and the only thing that'll make the labs easier is if you have a good TA cuz most of the lab TA's are lame (just there to fulfill a grad school requirement) or can't speak english.

Take boyes if you can for ecn111. Two take home tests and two in class. If you cant get him take Winkelman. An a is an 85% and hes a decent teacher. If you ever need help with ecn, its my major so dont be afraid to ask
