Well...I'm thinking about selling my car.

Its a 2001 Anthracite E39 M5 with 58,xxx miles.

The car has been wonderful to me and I have had an amazing time driving the beast. I'm thinking about selling now and moving into an E90 M3 when they come out.

My car was in a minor accident in the beginning of October which involved very light body work on the drivers side front bumper and headlights (not my fault...and allowed me to get Euro headlights and PredatorICE AE's)

What I recently had done:
- the door dings removed
- front and rear bumpers resprayed
- front and rear brake pads
- rear rotors
- replaced U-joint
- replaced serpentine belt
- Service B
- Ipod hook-up (DICE I think...it's not even installed yet)
- Brand new rear tires (fronts only have 4,000 miles on them)
- replaced spark plugs (NGK)
- recently smogged (California)

i'm not buying the car, and it does look amazing, but i really believe that 42k is a bit too much.
if you'll find a buyer - awesome, but at this price, especially at winter time (When all bmws sell cheaper), its a bit steep

its beautiful.. just as a reference tho, they're selling for mid 30's here on the east coast (DC area). And around 30K for pre-01 cars. I hope you find someone who can appreciate how well its takin care of tho, because that definately adds value to it.

No shades or M audio (still has great sound/bass). Yes it does have the extended leather. PM me if you have more questions.

Be thankful for no shades. I call them the "rattle package" on my M5 :(.

I thought about the new 5-series but, as you said, it would be pretty rough for me without all the power...

The solution to this problem is painfully simple. Flat trade me for my 528, get used to that, and then driving the 530 would feel great!
