99MPower 01-02-2007, 09:06 AM Building a poker table, and need some help.
I have enough car tools, but dont have ANY wood working tools
looking for someone who has a jigsaw, staple gun and some other basic wood working tools that I could use (either borrow, or use at your residence) so I can build the table...
please let me know, TIA
Calvin
The Beastmaster 01-02-2007, 03:22 PM 95Dinan3 still has my miter saw. If he's done with it, you can probably pick it up from him.

Cal let me know if you want to get it from me. Also have a full set of tools if you want to use those also. I'm the opposite of you, not too many car tools but plenty of house remodeling stuff..... :)

No prob at all.
A neighbor did ask what the project was (nosy old buggers, them) that ran late, and I said it was a "science project" for school! :shifty They were very approving of our commitment to get it done before the so-called deadline.
bwahahaha! Ol' Mr. Shige-san didn't catch on at all...
pat.
The Beastmaster 01-08-2007, 03:59 AM Probability and stats class? :D
I'm having some painting done at the town house, but once that is done, I can organize the workshop. When I get the chop saw back, it'll be a full fledged wood shop. Too bad I gave away the lathe, band saw, table saw and big drill press from the other house.
99MPower 01-08-2007, 05:52 AM here is a pic of the final product and a pic of the final product folded up for easy movement and storage...
will get pics once "installed" in its location for the next 6 months.. LOL
sorry for the crappy photos, needed to resize from original photos, and went a little too small... u get the idea though

However, what B. Franklin really said is "Jack of all trades, master of one!" His thought behind that is, to know something about everything, and everything about something!
Not sure where Jack came from....might have been his pet donkey! :D
