I live in Gainesville. There don't appear to be too many modified BMWs around here until you get to Tampa or Orlando, but I was wondering if there is any interest in a meet on a Saturday? We could get lunch and cruise the interstate, maybe take some fly-by footage for a video. As for the date, I think some time in February would be good? Let me know if you would like to attend and are within an hour or two from Gainesville, we could have the meet somewhere in between.

If there is enough interest, I would really like to make this happen... seems like most FL meets are in Miami which is a hell of a long drive for me.

Theres the DTM meet at race rock in orlando on saturday the 11th. You guys might want to meet us orlando guys there. 2PM. Search DTMpower for more on that meet. Should be about 30-40 people from around florida.

I am interested....I decided that im going to florida so a visit there wouldnt be harmful at all...

Rugby, that's cool. I would love to see an M coupe in person. I have seen a Dakar Yellow M coupe in town occasionally, I believe I have actually seen your car near UF once or twice. Get the other people around here to register on BFC if you can, I would like to have a local meet and get to know other members in this area.

if you are interested in motorsports in general there is a UF motorsports club of which a number of BMW owners are members (myself inluded). the club runs auto-xs and rents out the roadcourse behind gainesville raceway. the club meets in the gainesville alehouse parking lot on thursday nights around 10:30.
