My 2002 530i has two failed rows of Pixels in the DSP Radio control. Does anyone know what the cost is to replace this head unit or an alternative with more robust displays? TIA, yeah I know about searching, wanted to also know if there is any new information. Thanks all.

I'm not sure on cost, but I had new Pixel display put into the wifes 03, 525 last week.
It was a warranty issue so I never got a price. The failed pixals were in the instrument cluster, actually the trip reset readout. Makes you wonder if this is a weak part ehh?? I'm sure Bavauto can help if you're looking for used, could be a real pain to replace though.
