I have a 2002 Conv. 325CI. The driver's side door panel keeps popping loose when you close the door. I can push it back together (it snaps) but it doesn't hold long.

I have ordered more clips which are .50 a piece...but how do I get the door panel off, I guess the real question is how do I remove it without disturbing the airbag...has anyone done this before? If so, is there a pictoral guide somewhere? Thanks.

You may want to post this in the stereo section as they likely have experience pulling door panels to install speakers.

The only thing I can contribute is that when working around airbags the common wisdom is to make sure you unhook the battery.

It's confusing, but this vert section is a subsection of the e36 section.

Since your's a 2002, it'll be an e46 model.
