Love to see 'em as a replacement for my E36 M3/4.

To each his own. Wagons have a great popularity in Europe. Esp. hi performance versions that are produced by rivals from Audi.

Why? As someone else mentioned, wagons are highly popular in Europe. I think the E34 M5 was even available was a Touring, have a look.

Wagons are in the BMW heritage.

Audi has high performance wagons, so does MB, subaru, and others. BMW would be losing a market share if they didnt.

i dont think it will happen because the m branch at bmw are more purists. bmw might do a 335i wagon to get some of the market but never a m3 wagon

Why are you so against M sedans? Sedans are very popular in motorsport because of their tortional rigidity. Are you saying that a format popular in motorsport isn't appropriate for a BMW Motorsport car?

If my car ran the quarter in 15 seconds I would would giggle with glee. I was referring to the fact that "if they put out a wagon, [cemmims] would be forced to break it off with BMW" as if he was even buying from BMW. They wouldn't miss his money because they never got his money.

If BMW makes an M3 Touring, then I might actually consider buying another BMW. Same with the 335 (although, I'd really like them to put an LSD on the car - one wheel drive just doesn't cut it around here...)

I agree, except I don't like the HUGE wheels - make's look like they're lifted 4x4's. And Audi does sell them in the US. They've been selling them here since 2000. (unless you meant to say RS4 Avant - those aren't sold here that I know of...)

i want an e36 wagon with a s52b30 as a toy later in life.

Ive seen photos of a 4 door version but with the front bumper, lights and grill of a coupe version. Is that how the sedan version is coming?
