View Full Version : Any news on sedan or wagon versions? ///M_Wraith 12-24-2006, 04:28 AM Love to see 'em as a replacement for my E36 M3/4. cemimms 12-26-2006, 02:05 AM dude seriously, if they put out a wagon, i would be forced to break it off with BMW. I am already against the 4 door M3 coming out again, and i hate the wagon e46 325 or whatever. If they made a wagon M3 i would seriously call it quits. ///M_Wraith 12-26-2006, 12:01 PM dude seriously, if they put out a wagon, i would be forced to break it off with BMW. I am already against the 4 door M3 coming out again, and i hate the wagon e46 325 or whatever. If they made a wagon M3 i would seriously call it quits. To each his own. Wagons have a great popularity in Europe. Esp. hi performance versions that are produced by rivals from Audi. SomeBMWGuy 12-26-2006, 12:06 PM No wagon, but I bet there's a sedan. ;) KevRC4130 12-26-2006, 01:34 PM dude seriously, if they put out a wagon, i would be forced to break it off with BMW. I am already against the 4 door M3 coming out again, and i hate the wagon e46 325 or whatever. If they made a wagon M3 i would seriously call it quits. Why? As someone else mentioned, wagons are highly popular in Europe. I think the E34 M5 was even available was a Touring, have a look. http://www.authen.no/pics/bmw-m5-touring-1992-1.jpg Of course there was also the 2002 Touring. http://www.pensandpixels.com/m3/images/bimmerfestpost1/Alpina2002t.JPG Yum http://faimg1.forum-auto.com/mesimages/187561/BMW_M5_Touring_3.jpg Wagons are in the BMW heritage. mbanks21 12-27-2006, 04:10 PM Audi has high performance wagons, so does MB, subaru, and others. BMW would be losing a market share if they didnt. blues street 12-27-2006, 05:35 PM i dont think it will happen because the m branch at bmw are more purists. bmw might do a 335i wagon to get some of the market but never a m3 wagon mbanks21 12-27-2006, 09:20 PM Just like Porsche would never do an SUV or a sedan? KevRC4130 12-28-2006, 03:03 AM Just like Porsche would never do an SUV or a sedan? Yep. There's something to be said for practicality. The "purist" market is only so large... kabal 12-28-2006, 07:40 AM http://magazine.avtoindex.com/images/forum/2006/porsche_panamera.jpg http://media.automotive.com/evox/stilllib/porsche/cayenne/2005/5od-4/47.jpg ///M_Wraith 01-01-2007, 04:02 PM i dont think it will happen because the m branch at bmw are more purists. bmw might do a 335i wagon to get some of the market but never a m3 wagon Purist or not. They would sell every single one they make. Mitch 01-01-2007, 05:23 PM dude seriously, if they put out a wagon, i would be forced to break it off with BMW. I am already against the 4 door M3 coming out again, and i hate the wagon e46 325 or whatever. If they made a wagon M3 i would seriously call it quits. Why are you so against M sedans? Sedans are very popular in motorsport because of their tortional rigidity. Are you saying that a format popular in motorsport isn't appropriate for a BMW Motorsport car? And wagons >>> your life. Seriously, you drive a 318. Mr.M 01-04-2007, 01:59 AM Seriously, you drive a 318. Watch out ladies, the man's got a 15 second 325. :rolleyes freshlax944 01-04-2007, 07:48 PM honestly i think the audi s4 avant is one of the best looking cars around, to bad the dont sell them in the u.s. m3 touring FTW. Mitch 01-04-2007, 08:03 PM Watch out ladies, the man's got a 15 second 325. :rolleyes If my car ran the quarter in 15 seconds I would would giggle with glee. I was referring to the fact that "if they put out a wagon, [cemmims] would be forced to break it off with BMW" as if he was even buying from BMW. They wouldn't miss his money because they never got his money. rcs328 01-05-2007, 02:08 PM dude seriously, if they put out a wagon, i would be forced to break it off with BMW. I am already against the 4 door M3 coming out again, and i hate the wagon e46 325 or whatever. If they made a wagon M3 i would seriously call it quits. OK then, bye. :wave Can ask what you're getting next? I hear the new Chevy Malibu is supposed to be a nice car :D If BMW makes an M3 Touring, then I might actually consider buying another BMW. Same with the 335 (although, I'd really like them to put an LSD on the car - one wheel drive just doesn't cut it around here...) honestly i think the audi s4 avant is one of the best looking cars around, to bad the dont sell them in the u.s. m3 touring FTW. I agree, except I don't like the HUGE wheels - make's look like they're lifted 4x4's. And Audi does sell them in the US. They've been selling them here since 2000. (unless you meant to say RS4 Avant - those aren't sold here that I know of...) twhlax3 01-25-2007, 08:48 PM i would kill for an m3 wagon. i want an e36 wagon with a s52b30 as a toy later in life. lust41 01-25-2007, 09:50 PM Ive seen photos of a 4 door version but with the front bumper, lights and grill of a coupe version. Is that how the sedan version is coming? |
