What HU do you recommend that matches the E36 interior?

Now before I get a well-deserved “Use the Search” response, I’m looking for original equipment replacement HU’s for my M3.

I have a C33 weather band HU with screwy pixels and volume control, so I’m looking for the following:

- Must be OEM BMW
- I don’t need a cassette deck
- Must be able to control CD changer in trunk
- Must be upgradeable (speaker and DICE), better quality than the C33.
- Again, no aftermarket HU (nakamichi, blaupunkt, alpine, clarion, etc…)

Matches perfectly :) Paid $600 for it from a private seller on Ebay, only about 200 exist anymore.

I will be replacing my stock head unit thanks to Santa! I currently have a BMW CD 43 unit that I will be removing and selling. It' works 100% and is in great condition as the car has less than 15k on it and is babied in a way that makes my wife jealous! I would be happy to forward pictures.
