what's up bfc, i am new to car audio and have decided to upgrade the sound system in my 95 325i. I plan on upgrading to 2 amps, 2 10" subs in the back, and new 5.25s in the front. My question is about the speakers in the door panels. If I am upgrading the kickers, is there a point in using the speakers in the doors? Is it even worth amplifying them or is it possible?

Thanks in advance.

What most people do is buy 5.25" comps - woofers in kick panels, tweeters in the doors - and amp them, of course. Nobody really bothers to replace the midrange if you're going to use aftermarket amplification; the only alternative to stock, AFAIK, is BSW's midrange replacement, which isn't meant for aftermarket amps.
