Anybody have luck with adding an antenna instead of the one in the rear window? I get so many more distant stations in my F150 with a mast antenna. I think the issue would be the stupid BMW proprietary plug into the DSP amp.

Radio reception (especially in the AM band) is horrible with these cars. Thank God for CDs....maybe the answer is XM radio or Sirius.

i'd rather just add another better antenna somehow.
heading out to radio shack to take a look. but that connector is going to be a problem I just know it.
