don't know if anyone followed my other thread but long story short, friends 98 740IL with 100,400 miles SES light came on, pointed to O2 sensors and MAF, changed that out, SES light still on...now pointed to fuel trim
After changing the OSV valve, intake gaskets, cleaned the IAC, replaced the brake booster vacuum line, fuel filter, took it to the emissions station, had the codes cleared and drove for 80 miles, took it back to the station, system was ready for emissions and passed
After searching a lot threads, I followed the steps exactly and helped out a friend, $920 in parts but it should be good for another 100,000 miles
