s/c 740 vs M - Haven't had the chance to test the performance head to head, but last night i had a shoulder to shoulder run with 2000 M5. Its incredable that i am still able to drive the car at this time of year (stored winters) but what can u say. The water injection was removed so i was just out keeping it oiled, now the temp was very cool & damp about 2 degrees C. so the s/c boosts good.
Dead stop to 160 k was able to get 1+ car on him surprised both of us but rolling at about 30 k to 120 k he was the one wearing the smile 1+ car :) . I figure with the water / alcohol i would have done much better.
