So I'm heading down the SPID in corpus a few hours ago, I come up on what I thought was a g35, it sure looks like it. I didn't even know they made them, It was left hand drive (are they from canada?)
So he starts to take off as im comming up on his ass, I wanna catch up to look at it, he just keeps going and I follow him up and catch up around 120, we go side by side and he honks 3 times and we're off. I pulled a half a car on him through 4th gear and then we let off. I'm pretty surprised, and I'm pretty sure it was auto I didn't see him shifting at all.

that "skyline" is a G35 with skyline badging....over in japan the g35 is sold as a skyline

That's what I was telling myself before I googled it, I just looked at a picture. It had the 350gt badge n' all.

i work for infiniti...i can tell u for sure its a posers car....we had a g35 w skyline and 350gt badging all over it...it even had a carbon fiber hood and engine cover..it was owned by some young kid that blew his clutch out at like 6000 miles

appearently it is sold in japan as a skyline 350gt.

they took the g35 and just put skyline badges on it to hide the real skyline project from the media. they used it to trick them from knowing...the real skylines will be...

Why is it a poser's car if thats what theyre really sold as? As posers car is an 318 with m3 badging

It's called JDM. Not really poser to put Skyline 350gt badging on a G since that's what it is. The same goes for "Fairlady Z" badged 350zs.
Just the JDM badging. GTR badging would be poser or rice but not 350gt.
You guys are confusing the GTR with the 350gt. There is no GTR though in the current generation of Skyline.

thats true. its like if you see a Acura Integra GSR with a honda badge on it you would say ahhhhhhhhh rice but in reality over in japan its a Honda integra GSR. Now if you put a Type R badge on Acura integra GSR then your a poser.

I had the same thought too...i know 328iS aint that fast.. I own one. :D
