So these weren't all in one night but over the last week since i got the car running. All my car's got is the stage 1 kit from technique and a 3" exhaust with only 6lbs right now and 3.15 gears. Amazing kit and well worth the money if anyones considering it.
So it started with the 1.8t, as he went by me on the highway while i was doing about 60, it was done up but tastefully, definatly an exhaust what else i dont know. He slowed back up next to me and indicated he wanted to run, i nodded and waited for him to go, he took off first and got about a car length, i was in third gear and this is probably the best gear on the car, 4th is fun too but it never came to that, by 90 i was too far ahead to keep going, i know not fair really but he started it. Gave him the high beams as i had to exit quickly and continued on my way.
Next was the ws-6 about two nights later, i saw this guy get onto the same highway i raced the gulf on and this is one of those cars i just wanted to see how i'd do against. This thing was loud, and the guy driving it was a little older but i figured maybe he'd want to run, i pulled up next to him at about 70which from my understanding is their perfect third gear speed, well i was there for about 2 seconds before he gunned it and we were off for about half a second it was even that i started pulling him pretty good, im not sure if he could drive good or not because i pulled on him a lot harder than i thought, from 60-110 i was easily 5 cars if not a little more but im trying not to exaggerate. Oh by the way, i love my car even more after this race. :D
The guy in the ws-6 wouldn't come back up next to me at first and when he did about 30 seconds later when i slowed down to the speed limit at 55 he gunned it and tried to do a fly by so i got on it again and with same results put multiple cars on him, im really not sure if he could drive cause i didnt think i'd take an ls1 that badly from 60 with only 6lbs of boost, but he gave me the finger after the second run :( Oh well not everyone can be a good sport.
And the third race i dont even know which type it was it had some sort of sticker where the car's engine type used to be (right side of trunk) and it was debaged other than that, this thing was lowered definatly an exhaust too a tein sticker and some other stuff, from he came up passed me and we met eyes he revved it up and i heard a real loud bov, he was definately game, we lined up at 80 so i just kept it in fourth gear, i waited for him to go and he did, he got about half a car than i got on it and yet again another car just walked up to 110. Gave the guy the thumbs up and he did the same and we continued our paths.
In conclusion i need to get this thing to a track to see what it's running, it's easily the fastest car i've ever driven but before this it was my cousins mildy modified 97 cobra so certainly a jump up.
