So, I purchased my M3 in Nor Cal, and was making the terribly long journey back to Pendleton, (The grapevine was excellent driving btw) and I had just gotten on the other side of LA, the entire time, I was not running the car hard, as I just got it, and felt like babying it for a while, when lo and behold, I see a small pair of headlights, with even smaller angel eyes...so now I'm staring at them in my mirror and immediately dedeuce that it is NOT a bimmer, turns out to be a civic hatchback...exhaust, and saw a Tein sticker in the back window. Like I said, didn't wanna hot rod the car just yet, but this car just floors it, and i think eh why not? I drop it in 4th and floor it, the car had already gained a car and a half by the time I decided to go...anyways, I certainley caught up quick...now going through both civilain and military defensive driving, i know to pass on the left correct? I get in the left lane, and as I'm going to pass, the little b*stard starts coming into my lane as if to ram me, there is no way i'm breaking for this little snot, so i literally get onto the shoulder and am running about 12 to 24 inches away from his door panel at 120, you could hear the whoosh whoosh whoosh of the road markers go by I was so close, needless to say, I blew past the guy, and saw his eyes bugged out and jaw drop when i looked behind to see him.

Also raced a(n) 04 STI right before I got on base...won the first time, I'm quite sure he missed a shift, and he proved that when we lined up again, and beat me, as I know i was getting into a losing race going against the STI, regardless, still fun....and I love the new car :evil2

I hate when these guys(any car owner) tries to do this because they feel they will lose. I had a guy in a lowered chevy dually(big trucks with dual tires in the rear) brag that he would smash a car up against a guard-rail or center divider if they beat him in a race! To which I replied: "You'll have to catch me first!" :D But that mentality is really disturbing. :nono
Be careful people!

That is usually the reason why I don't engage these honda/ricer races. You have much more to lose than they do. Whether you are speaking of the cars themselves or the race! If you beat the ricer, you have not proven anything and if you lose people will laugh!(even if the guy has turbos, nitrous and all other mods under the sun!)

Either way, way to break in your new M3!!!:buttrock
I salute you soldier!!! Nice kill!!!
