not sure about the Kumhos, but Falkens are available here. rennwerkes got a pair of 17s mounted and balanced for $236 for his M3. Not sure if they were the fk451s.

Heck, I still don't know!:D
I can check if it matters but for that price I it's hard to complain!
One thing, my tires were 225 so the 245's may be a bit more.
The name of the place is NewImage in the Kapolei shopping center. Might be NuImage. Can't remember the spelling.

I just got a set of Kumho MX's last week, but I ordered them thru Tirerack and had 'em installed at Haw'n Tire and Auto in Pearl City. $515 for a complete set shipped (235/40ZR17)

They mounted and balanced all four for $100???:eyecrazy
Everytime I get a quote from them it's at least $40-$50 per tire.
Is there some deal that I don't know about?
Heck, I'd take my car over there all the time if it's that cheap.

Yo bro,

When did you need the tires I can call my friend at NuImage to check out what he can quote you. If you agree with the price then I can have him order them in advance. Call me 520-1375

Peace,
Shane

I thought the Falken GRB FK451 was discontinued and replaced with the GRB FK452?

hey thanks for all the info guys. i checked tirerack but the shipping seemed a little pricey for just 2 tires(used to be cheper iirc)

hey shane that would be great if you can get a quote for me. and i think gmhl is right, they replaced the fk451's with the fk452's?

either is fine, just lmk when you get the chance to call up your friend

i just need a pair of 245/40/17

thanks again:buttrock

Yea... several months ago back in March, my brother was asking me about tires since his car had GRB FK451. When we checked, most places had FK452. He just bought another set of FK451 because they were cheaper since they were trying to make room for the newer line up.

That's how I knew the FK451 was discontinued. But, maybe you can still find a set somewhere... I'm not sure though since they changed it a while ago. I hear the FK452 greatly lessened that tramlining problem that the FK451 had though.
