Does anyone have a body shop recommendation for the Raleigh/Durham NC area? I am looking to have all of the sand/rock chips repaired on my m3. I just moved here less than a year ago and I am struggling to find a shop I like.

Thanks - Have you personally had work done there? Someone else I spoke to recommended them as well. I checked the better business bureau and there have been several complaints - I am just a little hesitant...

Precision Collision (9912-B Capital Blvd) has done excellent work for me, Redshift's M5 and elh0102 just got his M3 out of there this week after the deer hit (haven't talked to him yet). My wife's E90 is getting the rear bumper cover repaired there shortly also (idiot in Lexus slammed into it in a parking lot).

I'll second the Paragon comment.
While I haven't actually had any work done there, I have seen what they produce and it is good stuff. I assume they must be expensive, of course.
Kenny Hawkins in Cary is good as well.

When I worked for Southeast Toyota, Paragon was one of our premeir buyers of toyota/lexus panels. The quality of work I have seen come from them has made me a customer for life.
They are located at the old goodman toyota building on capital blvd.
also, their complaints from the BBB are most likely from dealerships who use them as a "in house body shop"
a dealer filed a claim against them back in 99 or so about "shoddy" work. In fact the work was as superb as ever.. but so was their price.. and the dealer had agreed to cover the repairs of that persons vehicle. The vehicle owner had no problems, but the dealer got upset about the cost (paragon charged extra to get it done by the date the dealer told the client it would be ready)
mind you this is word of mouth i have heard, but coming from the family that owns the supposed dealership it really wouldn't surprise me.
also.. precision collision, fosters, tarheel (which i beleive changed names.. it is towards wake forest on the right coming from raleigh up US1) all do top notch work as well.

I had some body pieces painted from paragon on my 328 and they did a great job. Leith BMW used to recommend all of their body work to paragon, however now i think they use someone else, not sure why they changed.
I think Kenny Hawkins has the best reputation out there and does the best work, but charge the most as well.

I just got my 740 back from Larry @ Ultimate Autobody off Lake Wheeler Rd. By the Farmers Market. I recommend him.

Had my wifes front bumper and hood repair and sprayed by Fosters on Capital Blvd in Raleigh. They do excellent work. Recommended by BMW and Lexus.
